Frequently asked questions

Do you have any questions in mind?

Does my teen need a ski pass?
It depend on their level:
  • For Class 1 level, a ski pass is generally not needed on the first day. Starting from the second day onward, the Val d'Isère/Tignes pass is required.
  • For other levels, a full Val d'Isère/Tignes pass is needed from the first to the last day of lessons.
Does the esf provide lunch?
No, meals are not provided as part of our group lessons as we do not have suitable facilities.
You will need to pick up your teen at the end of the morning session (12:30pm) and bring them back to us for the afternoon session (2:00pm or 2:30pm) if enrolled in a full-day program.
The lunch option is only available for our "Full-Day Courses"
How should I equip my teen?
Your teenager will need a warm, waterproof suit, gloves, sunglasses or goggles, sunscreen, etc. Wearing a helmet is highly recommended.

For specific equipment: skis and boots that fits their size. Beginners do not need poles.
WHAT LANGUAGES DO THE INSTRUCTORS SPEAK?
Our instructors speak English and French.
