The activities and layout of the snowy kindergarten make learning to ski fun and accessible for children aged 3 to 4. In this dedicated, child-sized space, your children will be encouraged to play "with skis on" and explore the magical world of snow.

In Val d’Isère, children aged 3–4 can also learn to ski in a safe and fun environment. At the kindergarten, they’ll benefit from professional supervision and teaching methods tailored to help them take their first steps on the snow and discover the world of the mountains. As a ‘Famille Plus’ accredited resort, Val d’Isère guarantees, as it does every winter, a memorable skiing holiday for the whole family!
Club Piou Piou, a ski kindergarten for 3- to 4-year-olds
From the age of 3–4, little ones will have the chance to start learning to ski in Val d’Isère. Supervised by qualified instructors trained to work with this age group, they’ll learn in small groups of similar ability within a dedicated, secure area for children.

- Piou-Piou to Sifflotte level courses to learn to ski whilst having fun (trial lessons, or 5, 6 or 7-session packages covering mornings, afternoons or full days);
- Ourson level courses for children who have already reached the Sifflotte level (5, 6 or 7 mornings, afternoons or full days).
What happens during my child’s first ski lesson?
During their first ski lesson with esf Val d’Isère, the very young children are divided into groups of eight. During the lesson, they’ll be encouraged to use fun activities and outdoor games to:
