Teenager ski lessons for 13 and over with esf Val d'Isère
From the age of 13, esf Val d’Isère offers group teenager ski lessons, tailored to all levels, from taking your first turn to skiing competition. Each tuition is led by a qualified ski instructor and takes place in small groups on the resort’s slopes. It’s a chance for teenagers and young people to enjoy a unique skiing experience or set themselves new challenges during their next holiday in the mountains.
Alpine skiing, snowboarding and freeride skiing: teen group lessons for every preference and level
The group introductory ski course for teenagers is the ideal option for young people wishing to learn the basics of skiing under safe supervision. Teenagers looking instead for lessons to improve or perfect their skiing skills can opt for the intermediate and advanced ski courses.

- Snowboard lessons: introductory sessions to experience the fun and unique sensation of gliding on snow (beginner and Snow 1) or Snow 2 & 3 level courses.
- Team Rider Course: a teen ski course in Val d’Isère available once the Étoile d’Or level has been achieved (freestyle skiing courses, an introduction to freeride and off-piste skiing, etc.).
Teen skiing competition: preparing for the Flèche and the Chamois
From the ‘Étoile d’Or’ level onwards, teenagers can also sign up for skiing competition courses. These lessons, tailored to advanced young skiers, are specially designed to prepare them for the giant slalom (‘Flèche’) and slalom (‘Chamois’) tests.
In a friendly, dynamic and rigorous atmosphere, they will have the opportunity to train for these timed tests and thus assess their skills (technique, speed, control, etc.) on the ski slopes of Val d’Isère.
